The Fiano is a wine gotten from the wine-making of fiano grapes, grapevine cultivated in numerous common of the "Irpinia". His name Apiano derives from the fact that his berries very rich in sugars are a favorite for the bees.
The "fiano" grapevine has illustrious and distant origins. Already not toe the Latin, Carlo II D'Angio introduced this grapevine in the real vineyards.
The ancient Fiano, too rich of sugars, was slightly foamy wine.
So it has taken 18 years of experimentations and the aid of modern techniques of colling of the tubs to bring you this dry wine.
It is a wine of thin perfume with rememberance of moscato. mature fruit, filbers, with a dry and fresh taste.
